Under the direction of a legal expert, this workshop provides participants with:

  • Expanded definitions of accident and obligation to re-employ
  • Requirements to return injured workers to suitable work
  • Understanding of what the WSIA means to you as an employer
  • How you can best manage the worker's injury, absence and claim
  • Return to Work and Re-employment obligations, responsibilities and penalties
  • Insurance coverage requirements as set out in Schedule 1 and 2
  • Prevention Mandate and First Aid Regulations
  • Detailed review of offences and penalties 

Registration - 8:00 a.m. Workshop - 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fees include workshop, continental breakfast, refreshments, lunch and handout materials.
