CME Human Resources Member Call

Published by Valeria Quintanar

May 16, 2018

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a teleconference on Wednesday, May 16th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT as part of our relaunch of the CME Ontario Human Resources (HR) Committee.

The HR committee focuses on issues pertaining to employment standards, employment equity, training, labour, human rights employment insurance, working conditions, hours of work and overtime.

As we continue to conduct our policy and advocacy work on HR issues, CME is taking a pro-active approach in working with our members to thoroughly understand manufacturing priorities, as well as working with governments to ensure they adopt those priorities as their own.

Join CME and our guest speaker, Ken Delaney, Executive Director at the Canadian Skills Training and Employment Coalition at 1:00 PM Eastern Time where he will talk about some of the Ontario skills related programs that our Association is involved in.

During the teleconference, CME would also like to learn what HR issues are currently affecting your business and what policy recommendations you would like us to consider ahead of the provincial election. View Agenda
